Another great day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

Sounds like an ideal location and nice to see new biz in town
I doubt the owner of the new high end salon that moved in there recently is saying the same thing.

OH NOES!!!!!!!
The uppity snobs at the nearby high end salon paying $150 for a $20 haircut are going to get oh so upset when they have to put up with normal people going to 7-11, I honestly don't know how they will be able to handle it, what a tragedy, oh the horror of it all.

Some of the salons I've been in offer you something to drink ranging from water to a glass of wine. It might be a convenience for them to have next door.

When I moved to Folsom 10 years ago , I was amazed that there were no 7=11 stores. I really do not care that one is coming but it was interesting that there was NOT one for so many years.
there's one over by the old high school (now Sutter Middle) off Riley.
I agree it's a perfect location for one.

Yes, teens would be a target demographic yet at the same time difficult to manage!

Is it 7-Eleven or Circle K near Sutter Middle? Has it always been? I guess I get confused...

I believe there are actually three Circle Ks in our area. I think the one at the corner of Natoma & Riley used to be a 7-Eleven, but I'm pretty sure it's a Circle K now. There's also a Circle K at the Shell gas station on Coloma, which is where a lot of the students go. There's another one further up Natoma across from City Hall & by the car wash.

Don't forget the Circle K on Iron Point near the movie theaters and Outlets.

OMG! a 7-11 !!! it's going to bring around regular people who drink slurpees and buy beer!

Boy, that was a broad and unflattering characterization of that salon's clientele. Angry much? Who doesn't like a slurpee on a hot day?

I do believe The Dude was sarcastically responding to Sandman's post and not actually characterizing the clientele.Boy, that was a broad and unflattering characterization of that salon's clientele. Angry much? Who doesn't like a slurpee on a hot day?
