Ok so I need some help with this...

We have Guitar Hero for PS2 and two guitars 1 that connects to the PS2 and the other is wireless, a few weeks ago the PS2 took a crap hear the noise but nothing shows on the screen...

Santa visited and my youngest one got PS3 my question is does any of the PS2 Guitar hero stuff convert? I hear only the game part will work and I have to get new guitars...

Can someone verify? I love Guitar Hero and now wondering about Rock Band....if we should just do that instead...

And if they are not compatible I will move this over to Classifieds for two PS2 Guitars for sale... darn they are only two months old....

Any advice???/

we had GH for PS2 and the guitar didn't work with the PS3 so we got the PS3 version of Guitar Hero

just got Rock Band - and holy chingawa that is such an incredibly awesome game - if you are going to consider buying GH for PS3 - skip it and get Rock Band instead - best part is 3-4 people can play it at once and its a total blast

ok... make me an offer I paid $70 for the wireless and the other came with the game...which I can't remember but I am not looking to get rich just get something to put towards whatever he decides he wants Rock Band or GH3....

Thanks... So I am thinking if I get $60 for both that is good kind of in the middle $30 a piece...and will help for $ towards Rock Band for him...

IF they are really only 2 months old, and 1 is wireless then yes, that is fair.

I believe the way it works is PS3 guitars are backward compatible with PS2 stuff but not the other way. I'd ask someone at the video game store though to be sure.

Done deal, PM me and throw me an offer and also lemme know if you're interested in any other ps2 stuff - we have 2 PS2 units, 1 works, the other probably just good for parts, got controllers and lots of games - I'll try and get a list put together soon to let ya know what he's got

a buddy of mine just installed a 73" 1080P tv in his garage with super surround sound and he just hooked up a ps3 and wii to it - man o' man thats amazing playing games on that system - its like being IN the game

Ok I called to see about making those guitars compatible but me being non techy and also having to purchase more special adapters confirmed that I want to get rid of these and just get Rock Band or GH3 for ps3... So if $60 is good for you when I get home I will gather it all together and it's yours.... I will PM you my # and when you get back into town buzz me I am usually around by 5-6pm hour....
