Just drove down Iron Point and there are a bunch of orange, spray painted bikes at almost every intersection. They are chained to the signal poles. I know what it means when there is a white painted bike or ghost bike. But I've never seen orange ones. Any idea?

Is it possibly a Bike Share type of thing?

Possibly...

They were in Palladio, too.  Today they're also on Prairie City.

Googled "orange bikes" and saw this:

"What's up with orange bikes?"

http://patch.com/sou...pa/orange-bikes

Read that and followed the link within to www.orangetheoryfitness.com, looked up locations and see a new one is coming to the Palladio. So there you have it.

Thanks, aztransplant (Sherlock of myfolsom)  Mystery solved.  Like chris v, I know what the ghost bikes mean.

They also had a guy in an orange "morphsuit" walking around during the Wednesday night Palladio concert last week (and probably tonight as well), and they had an orange (inside and out) compressed VW bus on display.  I guess their branding revolves around the color orange.

Yes, like "Superstar" above, I just read that its a new way of advertising for the OrangeTheory Fitness thats coming to the Palladio. I thought it was an odd way of advertising but I guess its catching some attention.
