You would think that people would not do this but it happens all the time.

How dumb can people really be?

Do not leave your pet in a vehicle when it is hot out.

Dog rescued from hot car at Arden Fair Mall

SACRAMENTO, CA - When it's a hot day outside, think of how hot it can get inside a car, particularly a car sitting in the sun. But don't think parking in the shade solves the problem.

"The shade can move," Arden Fair Mall Security Manager Steve Reed said Wednesday afternoon, after rescuing a long haired English Sheepdog from inside a car. "The windows were open, and there was water and food inside. However, when I shot the (laser thermometer) gun inside, it was 106 degrees...the dog was in distress."

Reed described the dog as panting heavily and very uncomfortable in his natural fur coat. The dog was removed and taken inside on a leash.

"This will be the fifth one we've rescued (this season)," Reed said.

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

Doesn't deserve to be a dog owner! Pure stupidity...
