2010 Team Tryouts - River City Gators Cheer/Cheer Sacramento
Established in 2003, Cheer Sacramento has actively been involved in the greater Sacramento Community. Cheer Sacramento performs and fundraises at various community events, including Sacramento and San Francisco Pride, Race for the Cure and the California International Marathon. We are the official cheer team for the River City Gators, Sacramento’s premier Minor League football team. We have even been featured in a Coca-Cola commercial!
Try-out Information:
When: March 21, 2010 at 5pm
Where: The Bounce Spot (2939 Promenade St., West Sacramento)
What to Bring: Come dressed in black, white and red practice wear, including tennis shoes (cheer shoes preferred). Bring water.
What to expect: You will learn a cheer and a dance. We will also be stunting to gauge everyone's skill level. Try-outs will include a short interview.
Requirements: Cheer Sacramento practices two days a week (Wednesdays from 7pm-10pm and Sunday from 5pm-8pm). There are no tumbling requirements. Cheer or dance experience preferred. The team is open to both males and females. You must be 18 or over and there is no maximum age for the team.
Costs: $10 try-out fee to include try-out t-shirt. Approximate uniform costs are $350. We keep the uniforms 2-6 years. There are monthly membership dues of $35.
Commitment: We require all members to have a one year commitment to the team.
