I could've had two good meals at any number of better restaurants for what I paid there. It did remind me of bad dining experiences in Europe, so in that it is authentic.

I have no doubt that even with a spot on review like this, others having the same exact terrible experience, and multiple bashing posts about the place, it will thrive and succeed in Folsom simply because of the damn name of the place.

They are eastern european and they make a fantastic melt in your mouth strudel. Really.
If you like German food, which is kind of heavy and stick to your ribs, then you will enjoy their food. It's not cheap, but its all home-made and fresh.

Incorrect. This is a small restaurant not a chain, so it's bound to fail.

Heart of Europe buys breads from O’Brot (half baked frozen breads from Germany).
With the high lease almost $10,000/Month, it is gonna be quite a challenge for the two owners to run this place successfully.

I just ate there for lunch today. I had the Hungarian goulash, a good size plateful of food, for $11. Very tasty. The staff was attentive, not intrusive when serving. I found this place reasonably priced, the lunch portions filling, and the food flavorful.
