I'm sure landscape design recommendations have been discussed on MyFolsom in the past, but I get nothing when I search. How do I perform a search? I used to be pretty good at it, but haven't done research in at least a year and either I've forgotten how or things have changed.

What I've done so far is on the MyFolsom main page I use the Search box in the upper right hand corner. I've used search words: landscape, design, grass and drought. I have gotten no hits. Am I doing my search on the wrong page?

Thanks for your help.

It appears that the search function isn't working. I searched for a few terms I know are also used in some posts -- to no avail.

The search function is working. The one on the front page of myfolsom searches the blog posts.

You have to be in the forums to search forum posts. One common mistake is to neglect to click the grey button that will change it from the default search of 'this topic' which would only search the thread you are on, where you want to click 'forums' and it will give you everything.

I entered the words landscape design and got 49 results. Then I entered "landscape design" in quotes and got 11 results. I bet you'll get even more with the word drought or the word grass.

Got to the top of this oage, upper right-hand corner, select Forums, and enter your search terms there. Like Steve said, if you don't select Forums you'll be limited to the results of the Topic you are in.

At the upper right of this page I have icons for Messenger, Notifications, My Profile and Sign Out. Below that is View New Content and below that is Follow This Topic. I don't see Forums (or Search) anywhere on this page (other than the one I already selected on the left hand side My Folsom/Members/Forums/Calendar).

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I have an Iphone and found a free app that is called IScapeFree.  It allows you to take a photo of your yard/house/whatever, and then choose a limited number of plantings and drop them onto your photo.  You can purchase additional plantings and such, but I got a good idea for my yard with just the free app.

I just figured out if I shrink the screen size the Search option shows up - if I maximize the screen size the Search option disappears. Problem solved.
