Looking for a loving family to adopt ‘Buddy’ my Golden retriever.
I’m unable to take care of him; my husband is not fond of dogs.

Buddy is a Gorgeous 18 month old, registered AKC, pure bred, Championship Line, White (English cream) Golden Retriever, male.
Neutered & up to date on shots. I got him from a breeder when he was 6 weeks old.

He is almost 90 pounds, still very playful, so has to be someone who is strong and active enough to manage a big dog; with a decent backyard..

--------------
status update ..... found someone who can help us ... thanks

Can you post a picture? Are you adopting Buddy free to a good home?

Looks like back in July when this was first posted, $1500 was the asking price for Buddy.

Yes, I remember that, but I really wanted to know if the price had changed.

That price seems outrageous. It can't be legit...

Totally agree on the outrageous price, and would never consider for that reason. I'd rather have a purebreed rescue dog, or a mutt.

Are the direct Sire and Dam AKC Champions? Do they have any working titles? Because if it's just Champion lines, it doesn't mean much. No offense.

No offense taken, hope you weren't offended either.
There is just no way I can personally justify that price. I would never need a dog of that pedigree for companionship.

Just because someone asks for a price that may be outrageous to you, does not mean the person is not legit. She is genuinely trying to give the dog to a good home, because her family cannot care for the dog as much as they would like to.

Actually the price is NOT outrageous- it might even be considered low for the type and pedigree of this dog within it's breed...

I have seem many with less prestigious pedigrees for over $2000...

Another great  day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

We got a papered purebred show quality lab for free. The owners were interested in getting their dog a good home, not recouping their expenses. Just sayin'...

I think the price is outrageous too. I adopted two pure bred Aussies and they came free with crates and all! The family was just glad I'd take both of them. I could have cared less they had papers . . . they were fixed and going to just be my pets. I'm sure you could find a wonderful dog through the SPCA!

No offense taken, hope you weren't offended either.

Similar experience with Aussies here. Great dogs and they're getting up in age now . . . 11 and 12 years old! :(
