While that reffing blunder did cost them:

Chargers got beat by themselves.

They still could have stopped the Broncos.

They could have stopped the touchdown.

They could have stopped the two point conversion.

They failed.

Another fun weekend of football!

The Niners disappointed, with no pass rush on defense and when on offense, too many deed drops instead of the little slants and screens Martz is famous form. I'm originally from New Orleans though, so if they're gonna get beat, I'd rather it be the Saints.

Also, a week after people were suggesting Brett Favre was washed up and should have stayed retired, he throws for 6 tuchdowns, including at least one rocket of a throw that must have hurt to catch.

Washington upsets Dallas, and the Chiefs smacked up on the Broncos.

Then the Raiders...

I'm lovin' it.

yep, Favre has definitely proven himself - and proved us wrong. That was one helluva great game.

Now I like our west coast teams - including the Chargers and had some high hopes for the Raiders but in the end they did as they seem to always do - LOST THE GAME. Gawd I can't wait til Al Davis sells the team or passes away - they're never get anywhere until they get out from underneath that 80 year old pimp.

Looks Like Al did the deed --

BEE Report: Kiffin out as Raiders head coach

ESPN.com is reporting that the Raiders have fired head coach Lane Kiffin and that the team has called a 2 p.m. press conference to introduce a new coach.

Another great  day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

Good move - this should be interesting, they haven't had a good coach since Gruden

Watching and listening to Al Davis now is like seeing Muhammad Ali, except they won't let Ali fight anymore!

I think the same for us Seattle fans too. The Mariners were a bust with a $117m payroll, the Sonics left town and now the Hawks are stinking it up.

Great comeback by the Colts today...
A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

Not a great comeback, a bunch of terrible mistakes by the Houston QB who should know how to take better care of the ball. They had the game won with less than 4 minutes left and blew it.

Indy is nowhere near the powerhouse they were just a few short years ago.

When you hit someone that has the ball and they fumble and Indy takes the ball and scores. When they throw an interception and Indy scores, that is a great comeback.

As I said the QB blew it. He tried some stupid aerial jump and lost the ball. Next time he gets chased down and gets hit from behind. I guess the play calling is maybe what did them in. If they had the ability to run the ball and eat the clock they easily could have won the game. They probably only need 3-4 first downs in the last 4 minutes to run the clock but the blew it.

Indy will lose several games this year and won't get past the first round of the playoffs.

Which would be considered a HUGE success for 28 other teams. biggrin.gif
