Most of our Lexington Hills Homes were built in 1989 and 1990 and were fitted with "high end" Eljer Faucets and Shower Fixtures.     A problem came about when the Eljer Company sold out to a Chinese Company around 1993.       The replacement parts under the Eljer name were discontinued and the new Eljer retooled with all cheaper "lower end" fixtures.    So ordering the early Eljer replacement parts  for our homes was non existent under the Eljer name.

There is some good news and there is a solution.      When Eljer was a USA Company,  Eljer made fixture parts for "Valley" plumbing fixtures.     Valley went out of business too during this time.      The good news is "Danco" which is in business in a big way today took over all the replacement parts under "Valley".   Therefore,   our replacement parts are on the shelves at OSH today.

Another issue with our homes is the fixtures were buried under some nice tile work.     So replacing plumbing under all the nice tile work without removing tiles is impossible.    The tiles will never look the same removed and replaced.    This issue makes repairing our current fixtures more important.

Danco has the Hot/Cold shower diverters and cup type O rings with the springs and plastic pieces.     You can repair some of the stems by replacing and matching up the O rings inside.   Good Luck.
