I wish John had let this go longer to see just how many people would think that a project of this scope would go thru under the radar without major hearings, meetings, EIR's, etc.

I can't take all the credit for it - a member emailed me a week or so ago with the idea and press release. The press release looked stuffy enough that I felt people might actually fall for it.

It got me- I did not even realize it was Apr 1 till later. I then looked at the "source' of the PDF and it is special to myfolsom. CVC inc website showed no such project and does even list a Mark Engstrom as its VP and there were no releases I could find on PRNnewswire

Don't worry, 4thgen. If it really did happen I'm sure the developer would have to make up for the loss of trails by locating them in another area... say, around the scenic water treatment plant. You'd just have to ride around it 26 times, but, hey, there's still a water view.
