There don't appear to be any real rules but I'm sure there are better and worse ways to do it. Poster paint, spray paint, house paint? What works best? I'm sure drying time matters. Our daughters 21st birthday is coming soon and I thought it would be fun to do a rock for her.
Any advice would be appreciated!

I found this phenomenon very strange where you are actually ALLOWED to spray paint graffitti (some call it "art") in a very visible part of town. You would get arrested with afelony in any other part of the state.
