In these times what landlord wouldn't negotiate to keep a business in their space? I just don't get it!
They should do well in the new location but I imagine the rent may be quite a bit higher.

New Raley's = Blue Ravine and E. Natoma.
I wonder how that is going to work out with Fornotino also being in that center. I've never been there.
Are they a similar restaurant?

to go back over for dinner prior to their closing. It is a great
place and they have done a lot for the Folsom community.

Have they already closed? If not when will it be. We will need
to go back over for dinner prior to their closing. It is a great
place and they have done a lot for the Folsom community.
Update said effective as of June 15 so today is probably the last day.

I had lunch at Strings last week, and Brian told me that will be leaving this location and relocating in the space occupied by Fornotino now. Fornotino is a spin off of the Strings chain and I don't think they have done very well there. The space is considerably smaller but as Brian stated their present location is hardly ever full due to the location. I know they will much better in the newer and more trafficked location, oh and a plus.. well at least for me is they will be very close to my house.. Happy Fathers day to all of you fathers out there...
okay, that sounds good. we will follow them wherever they go! Love strings. the salmon with pasta is a great dinner and I love their salad and soup too! look forward to seeing them soon.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know they were affiliated.
We are sad to see Strings leave this side of town, but we wish them well in their new location.

Wonder if there are some big plans for that whole corner since the school district is also selling their adjoining properties.

Yet another restaurant leaving this side of town and from the same center. Heard Red Robin is leaving for Palladio.

The plan for that area is, sadly, emptiness.

You really think so? Maybe.
