I am so damn uncomfortable and in so much pain. I'm cranky, grumpy and should not be out in public, around other people, at all. My Folsomites, help me out with something silly to take my mind off how very, very ready I am to give birth right this minute.

I've tried all the "natural labor inducers" that have been suggested. Walking, sex, spicy food, someone suggested Mountain Mike's Pizza, Chinese food, etc.

The only thing I haven't tried yet, and probably will, is the "Labor Salad" that was going around some years ago. I'll probably have that for dinner tonight. It's Romaine lettuce, chopped walnuts, gorgonzola cheese and balsalmic dressing. Supposedly you eat this and go into labor within 48 hours.

I am about to go rake the front yard and sweep down the drive and walkway. Maybe it will shake this baby out of me.

Even though I'm not due for another 8 days, I'm so ready right now. C'mon, baby!
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING MY GIRL.

Much love and gratitude.

Give it up. That baby ain't coming till 30 Nov.
The good thing is that you won't go into labor until Hubby get's home from work--he won't miss the birth.
The bad news is that due to Friday rush traffic--you won't make it to your hospital of choice.
You'll be lucky to have that baby in a clinic, at all.

Here's the clincher--that baby is stubborn--but when she decides it is time--there's no waiting or patience for her.

And people wonder by the babies get smacked at birth.

geesh.

I say Nov. 30 also, the day after your dr appt. I think you'll go in labor the night of your appointment, but give birth the next day. Just a guess.

Gads, you know what? That would totally make perfect sense, since that's pretty much what happened with Jessica. Had an appointment in the afternoon where they were all drama, drama, induction, c-section, drama-for-the-first-time-mama; then that night I went into labor at 10:00 p.m. and had her the next morning. You're probably totally right.

See... if men had babies, they'd be vegas odds during baby showers. This wouldn't be a poll, it'd be a pool!

I voted for Black Friday. I figure you'll spend Turkey day eating tons of yummy food and that will cause you to go into labor. Good luck! smile.gif

Did I getcha to smile? biggrin.gif

'cause I remember the miserable awkwardness of the last week or so.

I was so ready to get a pair of tongs and yank them out myself.

I am so glad I won't be experiencing childbirth anymore.

So I'm gonna go home tonight and drink a cold brew in honor of you; and thank my lucky stars. cheers.gif

Yeah, I went into labor after my last appointment (after my due date, also!), and had my oldest the next day. I think with the doctor doing all his "stuff", making sure the baby was in position, etc., was just enough to jump start labor. Good luck, and I will be hoping earlier.
