Oregon.....?   So far to the left that they came back around to the so called "far right" that they so hate and fear but yet they are exactly what they fear......!   Think Nazis, commies, socialists, confiscation of guns and limiting of all rights.  Just ask the 150 million dead under Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Castro, the Sandinistas, and various other socialists that decided they needed to take  your guns..........  Never ends well........   Lots of people die.   Just try and take our guns, nullify our 2A rights, and see what that brings...?   Do you lefties, you police haters, the haters of the thin blue line, order them to take our guns....?   Yeah, right.  You sit home safely while you order the boys in blue to take the guns of law abiding citizens...?  They won't, they will not, actually they see us as their back up.  Your plan B....?   Yep, you got nothing.   Good luck disarming us.  Australia and the UK...   That was like disarming the bay area at best.......   You need to rethink this one folks.   Not gonna happen, and you are not going to send in the police.  You want them, come and get them yourselves.  Molon Labe.......   Chris

It's interesting how the pro-gun people misrepresent what the proposed bill is saying.  Pro-gun people want you to believe this bill is coming after ALL of your guns.  Maybe they should actually READ the bill and see that it addresses only firearms designed as weapons of war.  There is absolutely NO MENTION of hand guns, or long guns typically used for hunting.  They aren't coming after all your guns.  Please read the bill.

 

And the more interesting part is that high school kids (the targets of recent gun violence) will soon become voters and I suspect they will have gun violence thoughts etched into their brains, and they won't forget them while standing in the voting booth.  I do believe the tide will change, slowly, but it will indeed change.

What exactly is a weapon of war?  You do realize that AR does not stand for assault rifle right? You do realize it does not select fire to full auto (as in a "weapon of war")  You do realize that a .45 handgun was a "weapon of war" for officers (currently a 9mm I believe)  You do realize that the revolutionaries had "weapons of war" at the time right?  It is not a bill, it is a proposed proposition. Not enough politicians are going to support it.  Weapons of war memes are just a gun grabbers way of saying that black rifles look scary. A rock, a knife, a gun, a bomb, a fist and propaganda are all weapons of war.  Another attempt by the left to redefine reality by redefining language.  Making criminals of law abiding citizens is no way to win hearts and minds.  Still, I am a states rights guy, and if Oregon decides to ban certain guns and it is found to be legally in line with the Constitution, then I guess I won't be moving to Oregon....

DOn't think you "common sense gun laws" people are fooling anyone though. You may want to live your life as sheep, I prefer to be the sheepdog when the wolves come.
