Why not have a parking pass like they do in dowtown Sac? You could have a Stewart St. decal. Those with the decal could park there anytime, but restrict parking to one hour M-F, 8-5 for those w/o. We could do it throughout the City and really raise some revenue.

Some creative thinking - not a bad idea!
What makes me angry about this issue is the fact that as taxpayers, we've ALREADY paid for parking places for these rude kids who are just too lazy to park in the school parking lot! This demonstrates a total lack of respect on the part of students for their neighobors, who don't deserve to have both sides of their residential street blocked by their cars all day long. Pretty simple.
It's consistent with the way FHS students have treated the entire facility of FHS. You can't walk ten inches without stepping on disgusting gum stains all over the concrete, and kids are eating in the classrooms CONSTANTLY, resulting in ant infestations, and just a general appearance that this beautiful facility is simply not being cared for by the kids who use it. It's really a shame how that school has been taken for granted by some lazy, disrespectful students who don't understand how lucky they are to have such an amazing facility. For those students who do take care of the school, and don't park on residential streets, thanks.
