I'm hoping that the 49ers get their act together and live up to their potential and win this thing.

The Seahawks seem to be the favorite of most of the experts, followed by the Broncos, Patriots and Saints.

Whatever the case, it promises to be an exciting season.

What do you say?

Broncos fan. Been a Broncos fan too long to get to overly excited, but jazzed about the NFL season in general. As Bart Scott once famously said, "Can't wait!!"

My fantasy team ain't looking so hot though...

This should be an exciting season for sure!

1. Seattle is going to at least go to the Superbowl again, they haven't shown any signs of slowing down.

2. The 49ers looks to be falling, maybe they end up 8-8. All the thugs and criminals on the team will have an impact, Kaepernick looks a bit off, and they nearly traded the coach in the off season. I guess somebody does have it better than us! LOL.

3. The Broncos will again be exposed as the fraud they are (as I also predicted in that Superbowl wipe out). Hopefully it will be earlier so a more deserving team can rep the AFC.

4. Teams that will be good: NE, NO, Philly, and Pitt.

5. Over-rated for sure: GB, Indy, Cinn

6. Surprise teams: Tampa, Az (not so much as they were decent last year), and San Diego.

7. Stuck in the middle at 7-9, 8-8 are a ton of teams with good talent but lacking coaching, discipline, etc. Det, Chi, KC, Atl

8. Worst team: Will either be the Rayyyyydas or Dallas. This could be the most fun race to watch.

Yeah, that 26-6 record over the last two years was a total fluke. Just who in the AFC is more deserving, pray tell? While their record will suffer some going up against the tough NFC West this season. they are certainly not a "fraud."  I see them easily 12-2 this season with a much improved defense...assuming. of course, Peyton stays healthy.

Seattle has a decent schedule and should finish number one NFC seed.  I have no qualms about putting my pics in writing.

Here are my division pics:

NFC:

West= Seattle              12-2    Niners will falter this year  9-7

East=   Philly                 9-7     Do you really have confidence in the Giants? Or Redskins? Or Dallas?

South= New Orleans   10-6    Carolina could surprise. But then again, they never do.

North= Green Bay         9-7    Bears could make this interesting. Green Bay needs to win the games they are supposed to.

AFC:

West=  Denver               12-4  No one else close provided Manning is healthy.

East=   New England     11-5  Best of the East. Even an aging Brady should breeze through division games.

South= Indy                    10-6  Easy ride through a weak division.

North=  Baltimore             9-7 A toss-up. Bengals could easily take their spot.

Wildcards

AFC  will be San Diego and Cinci

NFC  will be SF and Chicago

Well Mr. ESPN let's hear your predictions since you didn't give any and it seems you are an expert. Put up or shut up since you seem to know so much about "tackle football" hahaha...

Decent set of picks but sorry about that Welker suspension. I'm sure it was just a simple "I didn't know I was taking it" mistake.

Other than that the Bears will not make the playoffs. Look for Detroit to take that spot.

I predict the 49ers will go undefeated with an average game score of 89 to negative 5.

Bears will go 10-6 with the Wildcard.

Top three with a chance to win the Super Bowl, in order: Seahawks, Broncos, and the team I absolutely detest with all of my being.

Well I guess that explains it. By referring to me as "Mr. ESPN" you're clearly a fan of that silly network. ESPN is for 3 types of people: Red Sox Fans, People that love LeBron James and those who know little about sports (which is the category you appear to fall under).

Well, that was an awesome game! The Seahawks looked like a well-oiled championship machine last night. With Percy Harvin healthy, who knows what Darrell Bevell's going to come up with offensively. They are going to be dangerous this year. Yeah!
