Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life".
That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

I heard it there was a warning in Cameron Park, which is highly unusual. Of course, all threat was gone by the time I got home.

Lions, and Tigers and Bears, Oh My.
I saw the warning on my phone, it said to take cover, I looked around my home and couldn't find a storm-cellar to climb down into.
Decided if I started to hear winds that sounding like a freight train, it would be time to bend over and KMAGB.
