It's been rumored for quite some time, now it's official. Closing date hasn't been confirmed. KNCI reported they had already shut down, but I called the restaurant and the employee who answered said that she could only confirm that they are open today.

I hate to see a business close their doors, and this will leave a huge void at Palladio, but I am not surprised in the least.

They have really been plagued by service issues, employee turnover (including several managers), and the food wasn't getting rave reviews, either.

I went there once and spotted a friend at the bar. He told me he had been waiting almost an hour for his food.

On another occasion I went with my wife to meet 2 friends for a concert. We got there early and found our friends sitting in the front dining area.

They had already ordered. The waitress was nowhere to be found. I got up and went to the bar and ordered drinks.

When the waitress arrived to deliver the food, I asked for menus.

She didn't come back, and I went looking for her. I spotted her and her friends dancing by the bussing station.

We went and hung out by the stage and enjoyed the concert, but didn't eat.

I knew one of the managers and gave her a call about it the next day. She told me to come in and she'd comp me dinner.

We went, and the service was nearly as bad, and the waitress got our order wrong.

I've heard other similar stories, so again, sorry to see a business close, but not surprised.

I'm not surprised, either.

I'm surprised they lasted this long.

The service was absolutely horrible. I saw this coming when they first started their big booby marketing promo campaign on Facebook.

Hate to say it but they obviously hired waitresses based entirely on looks and boob size, not work experience or intelligence - and it showed.

Went twice, both times the service was horrible and the food mediocre. I wanted to like the place but I can't stand bad

service, no matter how good they look.

We have been  there for lunch 3-4 times since it opened and we had

no problem with any of the meals we had there.

I never went. The menu at D&B sounds just like BJ's.

I think it would be great if we got a unique, independent restaurant or store. But I suppose it will be another chain to attract the masses. Sigh...

Well if you have the capital and an idea on how to fill a 30,000 sq ft place with a swanky, independent, great food restaurant I'm sure Palladio will have you!

I never went because of the whiskey girls. Just like I haven't ever spent a penny at Hooters. To each their own.

I have no interest whatsoever it owning my own business. I like having a guaranteed salary.

I agree with cw.

Plus, I don't drink so a bar-themed restaurant is not my preferred setting. I don't mind country music, but TK's had bad reviews from the get-go, so I had no desire to go.

So what exactly would you like to see in this space?
