Yes it was indeed a great game. The Hawks showed they are right where they left off (as I said) while GB looked a mess (as they are over-rated as i stated). Now they have Lacy concussed and Bulaga with a blown knee. And they lost Raji as well.

Any GB loss is a good one.

Still wondering why Mr. tackle football hasn't chimed in with his expert predictions yet....

It was only one game, but the Seahawks sure played well...or did Green Bay play poorly? Maybe both.

I won the office pool. I had 6 and 6!

If you watched the game the answer is yes to your question!

Bears will go 10-6 with the Wildcard.

Still sticking to this after the Bears will be 0-2 come Sunday night :)

I've seen some fun games so far! The New Orleans/Atlanta shoot out, the San Diego/Arizona fight (4th quarter was crazy), the 49er/Dallas game.

Loving it!

49'ers gave that away when they pretty much had it won!

Well I was off on my Chi/49er prediction. Can't believe how well the subs played for the Bears. 3 4th qtr TD's to beat the 49ers on the home opener!??! Loved it!!

Seattle showed some slippage yesterday, maybe it was the heat? Lebron suffered the same thing :)

Saints 0-2 and Bills 2-0 seem to be the early eye openers. Still a long ways to go.

I swear though these NFL games are becoming more and more like the NBA. Watch the last 10 min and you get to see the real action because so many of them are close or even tied at that point!

Was very happy to see the Bears step up in the second half. Fuller was impressive (and will likely have to be since Tillman's probably out for the season) and made game changing plays. Most happy that Cutler played to his potential with four TD passes and no interceptions. Wished that happened more often!

I'm loving this football season, even with the 49ers' problems.

Did anyone see the game last night?

The Texans were leading 13-0 with a little over 3 minutes left in the first half. They then scored 24 points before half time. One of the craziest sequence of events I've ever seen.

This season is so week to week it's crazy. Dallas best team in NFL today? Indy, GB, and Bal are rolling and hot. Seattle is slipping, getting rid of Harvin along with the seemingly overpaid and under-performing Defense is taking it's toll.

The game last night was crazy, Pitt scores 3 TD's in 1:30 and they still had to hang on to the end and win by only 1 TD.

Lots of 5-2/5-1 teams with a ways still to go. Should be a fun ride the next few months. Lots of injuries too which is hurting several teams.

I must have missed that post. It's gotten even crazier since!

Wow, that was bad. The Bears' defense was the very best in the league only a few years ago. Now, not so much.

I did think they had an offense this year, but not so much.

The first half 49ers were pretty good. The second half 49ers, not so much.

Well, as we approach the play-offs, I was just reviewing my picks. Pretty solid over all, but I totally missed on Pitt, Arizona, and Dallas  It was a very entertaining season. Unfortunately, it's looking like a NE/Seattle  superbowl. Ugh.

So here are my wildcard picks:

AFC Wildcard:

Pittsburgh v. Baltimore

Key will be big Ben's ability to exploit the Ravens secondary. Without Bell in the lineup, look for Brown to put up ridiculous numbers. Can the Raven's stop the Steeler's one dimentional attack? Unlikely. But it should still be a fun game to watch. Pitt wins.

Cinci v Indy

The only chance Cinci has is to repeatedly give the ball to Hill, and try to keep Dalton from doing too much. If, and it's a big if, they can burn clock and score a few points without relying on Dalton's arm, they MAY have a shot... Oh, who are we kidding? Indy wins.

NFC WIldcard:

Arizona v. Carolina.

Gotta go with Carolina. With their mobile quarterback and Arizona's lack of quarterback, it's that position being the deciding factor. Sad for the Cards, they made a heck of a run.

Dallas v Detroit

The way Murray, Bryant and Romo are playing, it's hard to imagine Detroit winning. Their only chance is a fortuitous spate of turnovers, and Romo going classic Romo. Not gonna happen despite my ROmo voodoo doll.

Sounds spot on, particularly since Detroit is playing without Suh. That idiot can't let his athletic ability and skills be enough. He has to get dirty.
