Service was fine every time I went, if not over friendly (at least in the bar). Food was fine, it was Irish Pub food. Kind of difficult to mess up Bangers and Mash. We didn't go often, but the times we went, service and food was fine. I'm sure that place cost a lot to start up - just look at all the interior detail.

They have a sign next to it that a Fairfield Inn is supposed to go in there.

I had a 30 + minute long call with owner who admitted major service / food issues. She said they actually removed some menu stuff because they just couldn't get it right. Great honesty from her. And I saw she really cared. Just staff left a bit to be desired and implementation.

Their food and service was their demise. The food was so bad the two times we went we had to send the food back to get redone and it still came out bad. Come on!

Throwing hundreds of thousands out made the place look nice, but throwing short skirts on the waitresses didn't make them better servers, service was slow as heck.

I really wanted to like the place but bad food is not worth going back for. It's too bad because it was a really nice looking place.

I thought it was a very nice place, everything was great except the food. I was able to eat everything the 3 times I went so the food wasn't terrible, but it was at best average so we had stopped going there. Too many places to choose from with great food around this area.

I guess the owners are not going to say they are better off today than they were 4 years ago. Most folks go to an irish bar to drink not eat, so it may be the economy with fewer folks having money to go out. wonder if an irish bar could survive on sutter street, where there are lots more drinkers

I am hoping someone takes it over and makes it succesful. Especially in making a good value- Bistro 33 seems to do it.

Bistro 33 succeeds in spite of itself because of the location and the outdoor seating area. With the fire pits, lounge seating, water views and lights in the trees it is a beautiful place to hang out. You can't miss it when walking or driving through Town Center. They have a good happy hour, too. The live music on Thursday nights and some Saturdays make it seem like the place to be or be seen.

I often hear complaints, however, about the service and have experienced it myself. Servers can be slow, unattentive and aloof. It seems they view themselves as people who fill orders and deliver food, when they get around to it, rather than people who are responsible for ensuring a good customer experience and selling their company's products.

O'Reilly's probably would have done well in the same location, but where they were, they just didn't have good visibility.

I don't think the issue was the location, I agree Bistro 33 location is way better, but that little Peets center is always hopping. Parking was always jammed on Friday nights & many other times.
