Hi all, we're looking for a location to have our Friends Thanksgiving this year. We have always held it at someones house, but now that everyone has 2 kids things are getting very crazy. We would have probably 15-20 adults, and 15-20 toddlers. I was looking at the Rotary Clubhouse since it is right at a park, but the rate there is $725, and that's just way too much. Anyone know of any other venues in town? Could be in Rancho/Sac area as well as the friends are coming from all over. We've been doing this tradition for over 10 years, so we want to keep it happening, just need more space.
THanks for any help!

Folsom VFW rented their hall to me- for my daughters Bday party- at $300 or so. Easily 20 tables. Plus if your nice, they will make sure their bar is open. Kitchen is moderate. Fenced in yard. Parking is a challenge but doable if you minimize the 20 families to 20 cars...

It would be non-traditional but Safetyville on Bradshaw rents for $70/hour (3 hour minimum) and you could use the capitol room for the dinner. While you are getting things ready, the kids can ride bikes in the fenced Safetyville and play basketball on the hoop. It is super cute. We used it for my son's first birthday to host families with kids of different ages and it was great. I don't know about kitchen space, though. You may want to call about that. Good luck--I hope you find somewhere that works!

The Figueroa House might do the trick. It's big enough, but you might want to eat outside. Beautiful old place with plenty of room, including back yard and paved side yard. https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2753308
