Sorry to hear of another senseless ( sans life jacket) drowning.    None of these would happen if the swimmers used even a little smarts and donned a life jacket.

 

A side question-- where does it stop being Lake Natoma and it is only the American River ?

They found the girl's body this morning near the beach at Negro Bar.  Emergency people removed her. 

 

to the other question.  lake natoma is everything upstream of NImbus Dam.  the american river is everything downstream to the Sacto River.
