Anyone tried these? I have not ever really liked kale as a rule.

But I thought the recipe sounded decent.

  • Preheat oven to 250°F. Toss kale with oil in large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Arrange leaves in single layer on 2 large baking sheets. Bake until crisp, about 30 minutes for flat leaves and up to 33 minutes for wrinkled leaves. Transfer leaves to rack to cool.

I love kale chips as well as fresh kale salad with Parmesan, toasted pine nuts, and white balsamic vinaigrette.

I don't buy; I make. Here's a link to a recipe for creamy balsamic dip. Haven't tried it myself. http://prettyprovide...amic-bread-dip/

Here's the recipe for white balsamic vinaigrette. I love this so much I rarely use regular balsamic vinegar any more.

4          tbl.        white balsamic vinegar

2          tbl.        white wine vinegar (not distilled)

1          tbl.        finely minced shallot

1          tsp.       Dijon mustard

1          tsp.       black pepper

12         tbl.        (2/3 cup) olive oil

Combine all but the oil in a small bowl. Drizzle oil slowly while whisking constantly.
