I'm not surprised at Jenny's gesture, they are very sweet people. We have not been in there for a few weeks but I love Folsom Palace...your comments are bang on!
Hope your kids are both doing better soon Deb!

Thanks, Missten! Yes, Bill and Jenny are very sweet and caring people. :)

My son is doing super considering the extent of his injuries.

And.............................

.................my daughter had her baby! Yep, I'm a grandma (Nana) now. My daughter is still dealing with preeclampsia, which I didn't realize could continue for up to six weeks. The baby, who was born a month early, is a peanut, but he's a healthy peanut and we're very thankful for that. Mom and baby were discharged yesterday and everyone is happy to be home. :yippeeskippee: :SCHWEEEET:

That is very good news!!

My husband and I enjoy a tradition of doing takeout from Folsom Palace on Friday nights. Tonight our family dined in. Service was excellent as always and everything was delicious. We had crab wontons, potstickers, chicken chow mein, cashew chicken, shrimp with lobster sauce, walnut prawns, and twice-cooked pork. Folsom Palace brings in very tasty desserts from San Francisco (not sure where). A few in our group wanted the limincello dessert, which sold so well they were out of it. But they enjoyed the other desserts they ordered.

The restaurant was busy with dine-in customers and a steady flow of take-out patrons. :) I love to see that they continue to do so well.
