A VETERAN
Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life".
That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

This reminds me of my mother in law. She thought that if she held on to manual typewriters that one day they'd be of value. She has at least 10 that I've found all over her place.
I looked them up on eBay for her and winning bids were a couple of bucks.
I asked her what she did with all of her old stamps. She got rid of those....

I have close to 2200 and I have then all catalogued in an excel spreadsheet. What I paid for each one and what I think they are worth. I purchased a lot of them from a guy that went out of business. I thought I would sell them on ebay but just have not taken the time to do it. So I would like to sell them to someone that has the time and would like to at least double their money on ebay. I have also found that if you can't sell the magazine, a lot of times people will buy them just for the old advertisements that are in them.
