How can the Seahawks ban ticket purchases from people who live in 44 states, including California?

How can the Seahawks ban ticket purchases from people who live in 44 states, including California?

I don't know about the legality of it, but it sure is cowardly. What are they afraid of? If their own fans don't support them enough, if their team isn't good enough, banning 49er fans won't help. 

 

It's a precedent that should not be set. 

 

Imagine if all teams did that?

The Seahawks aren't the only ones doing it.  "The Broncos announced Sunday that they'll only ship AFC title game tickets to valid billing addresses in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana, South Dakota and Western Kansas."

It's unsportsmanlike, and the practice should be banned in the league.
