New Poll: American favor impeachment 45% to 38% opposed.

Numbers are growing.

Perilous times for Trump:
By 45%-38%, Americans support impeaching him over Ukraine allegations, poll finds

Trump’s Allies Are Running Out of Excuses

It’s dawning on Republicans that the normal defenses of presidential misconduct won’t work this time.

https://www.bloomber...nses-on-ukraine

When the story of the probable impeachment and perhaps removal of President Donald Trump is written, Thursday, Oct. 3, is going to be one of the big days.

It started off with the president publicly asking China and Ukraine to dig up – or perhaps manufacture – dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden; see my Bloomberg Opinion colleague Timothy L. O'Brien for the sordid details. Then, in the evening, bombshell after bombshell after bombshell landed, capped off late at night with House Democrats releasing text messages that detailed how the U.S. pressured Ukraine to go after Biden and to pursue bizarre conspiracy theories about the 2016 election.

AN OPINION piece is not fact.  The dems released cherry picked excerpts. Perhaps you haven't seen these quotes from the 25 pages,

"Bill, I believe you are incorrect about President Trump's intentions," U.S. Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland replied.

"The President has been crystal clear: no quid pro quo's of any kind. The President is trying to evaluate whether Ukraine is truly going to adopt the transparency and reforms that President Zelensky promised during his campaign,"

So what do you do when your latest "national nightmare" sky is falling impeachment "inquiry" is a flop? Do a friday news dump (always pay attention to political announcements on Friday...that's the stuff they don't want you to pay attention to).

"What do you do when you realize you’ve lost the day? Release a bunch of picked-over documents at 10:30 p.m. and hope that something sticks," a congressional aide with direct knowledge of Volker's testimony told Townhall. "This is an act of desperation by the Democrats. They know that Volker’s testimony was a huge flop. They're running scared."

There MAY have been no laws broken by Biden (although it was certainly slimy), but to suggest his and his son's actions are a conspiracy is certifiable, willfully blind lunacy.

Wow!
Trump calls for China to interfere with the 2020 elections while speaking on the White House lawn.

Bill Barr has gone rogue; serves as Trump's personal fixer instead of serving the American public.

Mike Pompeo and other administration official openly defy subpoenas from the US Congress.

What we have here is criminal administration.

It amazes me that people still consider this administration as "legitimate."  :CRAZYLOCO:

Yeah, the China thing was inept. I don't agree with that.  I think Trump (and many Americans) fell that our own justice system obviously didn't look into it, so hey why not.  There IS plenty to look into though. To me, the most glaring expose has not been on Trump's behavior, but on the deep state actors that manipulate justice for whomever they want AND the unwillingness or ineffectiveness of Congress to do ANYTHING for the people and aen't concerned with anyone other than themselves, their fatcat donors and pandering to their constituents. A pox on them all...

Trump's self-expressed admission of asking for interference in the 2020 election.

Whoa! NOT good news for the Trump rogue presidency!  :CHARLIEBROWNCLOUD:

New Poll Shows 20-Point Increase in Support for Impeachment Inquiry—Among Republicans

https://slate.com/ne...epublicans.html

A new poll out Tuesday from the Washington Post and the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University shows dramatic shifts in support of the impeachment process with 58 percent of the country now saying they support the impeachment inquiry and nearly half—49 percent—saying they support removing Trump from office.

The level of support for the impeachment process predictably differs along party lines, but none of the recent indicators are good for the president. “Since a July poll by The Post and ABC, there has been movement toward an impeachment inquiry among all three groups, with support for the inquiry rising by 25 points among Democrats, 21 points among Republicans and 20 points among independents

The final days of Trump are coming: A prediction from an ex-Bush aide

https://www.nj.com/o...-bush-aide.html

The impeachment of President Donald J. Trump by the Democratic House of Representatives is now a virtual certainty. His removal from office by the Republican-controlled Senate will require that at least 20 Republican senators join with the 47 senators who caucus with the Democrats.

And he brought it on himself!

Ambassador Sondland Throws Trump Under the Bus

Tio Vinny, he is still your POTUS, and will be again.  Wrap that around your head and you will be much better for the next 5 years...........    Accept the inevitable, better for your soul, you Chakra, your Karma state, your destiny........   Accept your reality and relax..........  Just like I did for the dreadful 8 years under Obama........   I accepted it, let go, and then I got what I wanted....!   A real President, with courage, a spine, a plan, and economic sense, one who loved America, not loathed it.

Enjoy your next 5 years in America.  I certainly will.   Chris
