Yes, the art pieces are going to be placed along the Johnny Cash Trail. The statue will be at the corner of East Natoma and Folsom Lake Crossing, looking toward the prison.

There is not just an artwork nod to Johnny Cash.  A newly identified tarantula species found on the Folsom Prison property will be named for the singer as well.

The coloring of the new Johnny Cash Tarantula looks identical to the one that was crawling across my driveway last October.    

 

Who knew we'd be visited by such a prominent spider!
