I'm looking for recommendations for home inspectors. I did see 2 recommendations from other posts but they are already booked.

Christian Peragallo - Homecheck Inspections - He's done inspections for the vast majority of my clients. Expensive, but very thorough and trustworthy. www.homecheckinspections.net
James Chisholm - Sacramento Home Inspections - A few of my clients have used his services. A little less expensive, but very good as well. www.inspectingsacramento.com

I think Christian did ours, but that was 3 years ago! If so, he was very thorough. He spotted things that the previous owners never noticed living in the house for 3 years that existed since the owners before them.

I highly recommend Robert Tolleson with Cal Home Inspection http://calhomeinspection.com/. He is local right here in Folsom too, which makes it convenient for Folsom residents. He also goes all over Sacramento, El Dorado & Placer Counties too. I personally have not met a more thorough home inspector, and I work with a lot of them.
*Also remember, there are a lot of things to go cheap on, a home inspection is not one of them. And remember to always get the pool/spa inspection done as well. Many people skip on the pool and find $3,000- $10,000 in repairs shortly after, or items not covered by a home warranty.
Hope this info helps.

but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming
"Wow! What a Ride!"
