Wow! The Depths of Depravity!!          :cuss2:
Kicking sick people off the health care rolls!        :loco:

Will probably make him lose a few million supporters.

Yeah, "Make America Great Again!" What irony!

What a joke on the American people!

Health Insurers Warn of Market Turmoil as Trump Suspends Billions in Payments

https://www.nytimes....-obamacare.html

The Trump administration said Saturday that it was suspending a program that pays billions of dollars to insurers to stabilize health insurance markets under the Affordable Care Act, a freeze that could increase uncertainty in the markets and drive up premiums this fall.

“The Trump administration just keeps pushing their destructive repeal-and-sabotage agenda, no matter the cost to the American people,” said Brad Woodhouse, the director of Protect Our Care, an advocacy group that supports the health law. “Following through with this latest act of sabotage could raise rates for all consumers even more.”

Hmmm. So a system that was destined to fail that OBAMA created is failing and somehow Trump is the problem.  We all TOLD you this would happen.  And raising rates? Ask anyone with insurance how their rates fared under Obamacare.  Of course, people like my bro got covered with Ocare. So far he is out about 4k in "deductible" this year alone.  Let alone the outrageous payments. Wow, that insurance is really working for him!  He would have been better off with a major medical policy... oh wait, you couldn't buy those under Obamacare....

You need to buy some property so you can have yourself and other cultists move there for your "free" utopian society. Let us know how it works out.

It's very obvious that Uncle Vinny isn't paying what other people pay, for his health care. So easy to push aside the burden of others, to argue for a system that only works, for those who don't work.

Obama Care was a punishment to those of us who got an education and worked hard to provide for our families. Obama lied about how his plan would save the average family hundreds of dollars on their health care every year. And that was just one of the many lies he told.......and that is why Trump is our president now.

Actions have consequences. Right Obummer?

Wow, I never really thought anyone would be so low and selfish as to defend what

Trump is doing to sick people.     :KOOLAID:

Guess I was wrong.

I got a good compromise.

1. We will continue ObamaCare and

2. We will give

YOU guys the right to veto any payments to sick people

who you think don't deserve to live.

We'll see where your ethics and morality stand there.       :CRAZYLOCO:

Wadya think?

I think the five people in my stepfather's family, who years ago got operations, medications and doctors appointments, did pretty good before Obummer care. Each one of them had no jobs.

Now, my son and daughter-in-law pay over a $1,000. a month for health insurance for their family of three. Their deductible is $3,000 each, annually.

Now they try not to visit the doctor at all until they're really, really sick or in pain.

Many people have chosen to just pay the fine each year, rather than the huge monthly cost with the added deductible.

AND, to add to all of this, it was estimated that the cost of health care would continue to go up under Obummer care.

Mercy and morals have nothing to do with the math of Obummer care. The insurance companies made far more money under Obummer care, than in the past. Why? Because Obummer care is a huge scam, that only benefited the unemployed and the insurance companies. Period.

Only a liberal would argue about how it is inhumane to stop subsidizing the insurance companies in a market the government forced on them, while at the same time rail against those same insurance companies for making a profit.

All the while ignoring this was the inevitable conclusion of Obamacare from the beginning. Also ignoring the millions of people who LOST their insurance because of Obamacare.  It must be great to have ideology trump facts. You never have to worry that you are wrong and can just do whatever you want based on your feelings. And then throw out your moral superiority card.

BTW, It's not morally superior to take money from others to "give" to who you feel deserve it. You want to be generous? Use your own money, and let me decide where I donate mine...

It was KNOWN Obummer care would fail. The goal was the "One Payer" plan, or what is better known as Universal Health Care, (Welfare) like Canada has.

Obummer care was intended to usher in Universal Health Care, all along.

It would have failed for Hillary as well. The only difference is that then SHE would have pushed for universal health care.

Hey, if you like the efficiency of the DMV , US Postal service and the VA healthcare, you will LOVE single payer.  Ask England how the NHS is faring these days...

Not obvious at all, and not true. Where did you pull that out of?

Obama Care was a punishment to those of us who got an education and worked hard to provide for our families.

Oh, Really!?
I sense a value judgement on those who "deserve" and "don't deserve" to receive life-saving treatment.

I have a little book that has a parable about the Good Samaritan, and nowhere in that story did the

enlightened one ask if the sufferer could pay, or whether he deserved to be healed.
That kind of thinking is cruel.

Tio Vinny, you need to drink more or smoke more dope because you will not survive the next 6 years of Trump as your POTUS and the Supremes actually doing the right thing, you know, upholding the Constitution, not rewriting it, not "living documenting" it, not bending it over the chair to suit current "liberal"  (insert communist, socialist, progressive, anarchist, cisgender, antifa violent) alternate universe visions of the Constitution.   Have a great next 6 years...!    MAGA...!   Chris

Everyone bashes the Affordable Care Act.  Why?  Bashing stuff helps no  one.  Why not fix it?   Oh wait - last fall the House, Senate, and the prez tried to fix it, BUT DIDN'T.  And then walked away.

The entire government in Washington is being run by the GOP, and since they control everything, it should be easy for them to fix things.  Yet they refuse to.

WHY AREN'T YOU BASHING THE CURRENT GOVERNMENT?  YOU VOTED THEM IN.  WHY AREN'T YOU DEMANDING THEY DO THEIR JOBS?

You're all on here bashing Obama, a totally useless thing to do.  I'm sorry, but you're all pinheads.

These forums have become an echo chamber for whatever fringe malarky suits your fancy.  There is no thoughtful debate, no reasoned arguments, no informed point/counterpoint.

I'm outta here.  Place is a total waste of time.  Bye.
