I thought it might be appropriate to let those old timers here that know my partner Norm Earle- AKA on this forum as - Farley, Folsom Senior, ( wish I could remember his female persona) and a few others, at 76 passed away November 17th due to complications of a replacement shunt surgery ( or who really knows what happened) for his Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus disease.

He was my lover, best friend and a wonderful companion and I know those of you that have met him in person would say that he was a very positive, funny and social presence in the room...

I really am at a loss to say more right now- but will do so later when I catch my breath...

Another great  day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

I am so sorry to hear that.

Norm was a wonderful, kind human being.

I just spoke to him a couple of months ago about his activities at the senior center. He told me he'd been through a rough time, but was getting better.

I remember him telling me that you two rarely went out to dinner, that you'd rather buy great food and wine to cook at home, that it was cheaper, you didn't have to worry about driving home, and the service was better. I never forgot that!

He was a cherished member of the myfolsom family, and he will be missed.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Ken. Although I only met Norm a few times, I knew him to be a super kind, friendly, and caring person. May loving memories bring you some degree of comfort and peace at this difficult time.

Will you be holding a service/celebration of life for him?

Hugs,

Deb

Ken, thank you so much for sharing this information. My heart goes out to you and if there is anything I could do, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Norm was a wonderful, creative, funny, kind and witty person and I'm so glad I got to meet him. I'm sure that my daughter would agree. She, too, will be very sorry to hear of this.

I didn't know Norm in person, but Farley was one of the most interesting, thoughtful, provocative, and witty contributors to this forum, and many times over the last few years I have reflected on how much I miss his participation.

If he was as interesting in person as he was in print, he was a truly special human being and you were lucky to have him in your life. My heartfelt sympathies.

I'm so sorry for your loss!  I heard about his passing at an HOA meeting tonight and although never had the chance to meet him, heard many nice things about him.  My condolences to you, his family, and friends!
