Awesome game last night! I'm not much of a basketball fan but that was a great one to watch...

And Barkley went off on the Bay Area like Phil Jackson did in Sacto:

Barkley: "The Bay Are sucks!"

Yeah, it's not quite Alabama, Chuck. Sorry we couldn't satisfy your BFE sensibilities.

After all, Alabama really has its sports priorities in the right place (i.e. Coach Saban dithcing the Dolphins and formerly LSU, 'neck Nascar fans throwing debris at Jeff Gordon... you know... total 'neck stuff).

We're on to Round 2. Dirk will comfort himself to the dulcet tones of David Hasselhoff.

What a great series that was! The Warrors are no fluke. They can play, and they have players.

I can no longer claim the Warriors, as I pledged my loyalty to the Kings when I moved here, but I am happy for my former favorite team. It's been a long time.

That's OK, Oliver will just make them be your team. He's done it to me and I don't really like pro basketball. But since the day we moved to California, he's always referred to the Warriors as "your team." I'm not claiming this because they're doing well, I haven't even watched more than five minutes of any game this year.

Besides, Go Bulls! (Who play Ollie's team.)

That looks exactly like Oakland when I made this mistake of getting off the freeway once.

Last night's game was amazing! biggrin.gif I am not a Warriors fan but I watched the entire game and they played so well (particularly the 3rd quarter) that it was impossible not to be for them. Besides my team is out of the playoffs so might as well root for the Warriors. And then there is the bonus that Mark Cuban got blown off! lmaosmiley.gif

Speaking of which - you noticed that Nellie and Cuban didn't even shake hands after the game?

Slam.

Wow, the Warriors waxed them. Reminded me of old times with the Kings. I would not be suprised in the slightest if they make the conference Finals. Rockets or Jazz? Please. However I'm sure the party will come to an end in San Antonio.

Well, now that we've taken care of The Lizzies...er... Mavericks, it's on to the Furies...I mean... Rockets or Jazz.

Awesome game, awesome series, although I'm a bit surprised that it's being billed as the greatest upset (or one of the greatest) in postseason history. Given the way the W's ended their season and how they own Dallas, it seemed pretty plausible to me. I think Johnson's gotta be feeling pretty dumb for resting his guys for that last regular season game, when they could have knocked the W's out of the postseason.

Now it's time for the Sharks...
