Well, the disclaimer at the bottom says that to collect your certificate you must provide your drivers license and social security.

uh--I went back and finished reading--that's what I get for not reading.

It's about taxes.

There will also be a prize drawing for all other players. Important Winner Information All prize winners may be required to submit valid identification including their photo, social security number, and legal identification to Sponsor and to execute an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release within thirty (30) days following first attempted notification. They will also be required complete tax Form 1099-M in order to comply with Federal and State tax laws.

Kinda lame--your gonna get taxed for winning a gift certificate.

OIC! Pooltracker is the name of the company I use for the pool. They have some boilerplate rules set up to cover everyone's butts. The only time you'd get 1099'd is if you won a taxable prize. On our pool, you will not.

Hey Steve...I know I said earlier I'd play, but I thought it was going to be just a friendly thing within the forum instead of registering with an internet site, etc. I can't access it from work anyway...wanted to do it from work during breaks, etc. Just wanted you to know. Good Luck....
I have opinions, you have opinions. We'll just call it even...is that OK ??

Pooltracker is a company that sets up office and company pools. That's all they do. They do not market to you and do not sell your data. Most fields are optional, and I am the only one who knows who all of the participants are.

And yes, it is a just a friendly thing, but is open to anyone on the planet. In fact of the 22 people who have signed up thus far, about half are customers and friends who do not post on myfolsom.

If you reconsider, we'd love to have you.

You'd only get 1099'd (tax) if you won more then $600

I calls 'em like I sees 'em, which, yes, drives people looney because they have never been introduced to the truth....No sugar-coating here...Sorry if that offends your sensibilities...
