What is the connection between Russia and Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump?

They seem to be inviting even more Russian meddling in our elections.

Scarborough calls McConnell 'Moscow Mitch,' says lack of action on Russian meddling is 'un-American'

https://thehill.com/...ell-moscowmitch

"How can Moscow Mitch so willingly turn a blind eye not only this year to what his Republican chairman of the Intel Committee is saying, to what Robert Mueller is saying, to what the FBI director is saying, to what the DNI [director of national intelligence] is saying, to what the CIA is saying, to what the United States military intel community is saying,” Scarborough asked.

Mitch McConnell guarantees Moscow will continue to interfere with our free elections.
This casts doubt on the reliability of the 2016 election too.

Is Trump an illegitimate president???????               :CHARLIEBROWNCLOUD:

Republicans Are Doing a Good Job Blocking Efforts
to Fight Russian Meddling in 2020

A new bipartisan report found that the election systems of all 50 states were targeted in 2016. Mitch McConnell couldn’t care less

https://www.rollings...eddling-863864/

Former special counsel Robert Mueller issued several reminders during his testimony before Congress on Wednesday. Russia wanted to put in Trump in the White House in 2016, he said, which we already knew. We also knew that Trump’s campaign welcomed this help, that Trump made concerted efforts to impede the investigation into the matter, and that, three years later, Russia is still working to interfere in American elections. As Mueller put it Wednesday, it’s happening “as we sit here.”

On Thursday, we learned something new: Russia’s interference in the 2016 election involved efforts to hack into the election systems of all 50 states, not just 21

Er, don't you mean Bernie Sanders who honeymooned there and loves their socialist government???  From his 1988 10 day trip,

"The hours of footage include a scene of Sanders sitting with his delegation at a table under a portrait of Vladimir Lenin. Sanders can also be heard extolling the virtues of Soviet life and culture..."

Yeah, but Trump  and McConnel are Soviet spies... <eyeroll>

Still think we don't have a traitor in the White House,
and the Senate leadership?

Trump's intelligence chief resigned after the White House repeatedly suppressed his warnings about Russian interference, New York Times reports

  • Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats in recent months saw his warnings about threats posed by Russia watered down by the White House, The New York Times reported Sunday.
  • According to The Times, a dossier by Coats on Russian interference in the 2018 midterms was altered by the White House to contain less critical language.
  • Coats' resignation was announced Sunday in a tweet by President Donald Trump, who wants a loyalist, Rep. John Ratcliffe of Texas, to replace him.

How far did Obama water down the russia threat?  Mitt, the 80's called (when Mitt expressed the view that russia was the #1 threat to America. Then Obama KNEW about russian interferance and did....nothing.

Love it when even Fox News confirms what the world should know.

Fox News Analyst Warns Trump Is
'Locking Down The Intelligence Community for His Purposes'

https://www.newsweek...mmunity-1451620

"John Ratcliffe has been all over the investigate the investigators [probe], who's doing that right now? [Attorney General] Bill Barr, so Donald Trump has consolidated his control over the intelligence committees at a time when he's given Barr unprecedented access and control over all the intelligence information, which we've never seen by an attorney general before," she said.

"Now he adds Ratcliffe," the analyst asserted.

"So this is Trump locking down the intelligence community for his purposes, not national security purposes."

OORRRR.... He is tired of the political hit jobs used by the weaponized intelligence services... Comey, Brennan and the other intelligence chief I forget have been overtly biased in their actions and spoken diatribes. The whole Russia Russia collusion stank from the beginning. AND if you have been following anything from the FBI, FISA and CIA administration and operatives, it is abundantly clear that there are deep state operatives who are acting beyond the law and have zero accountability. I see this as perhaps a way to bring some accountability for this malfeasance.

Uh-Oh!

‘Moscow Mitch’ McConnell ‘fuming’ with trolling

:grrr:                        :cuss3:                          :cuss2:

https://www.msnbc.co...ing-65081925887

New pressure on the top Republican in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, who blocked a series of elections security bills despite warnings from Bob Mueller and American intelligence that Russia is still at it.

McConnell is furious with his new ‘Moscow Mitch’ nickname as progressive groups put up billboards in McConnell's home state of Kentucky showing McConnell in a Russian military uniform. Senator Richard Blumenthal and Malcom Nance, a former counter-intelligence operative in the U-S military join The Beat.

It turns out that Trump, behind the scenes at the G-7 Summit, was pushing to

let Russia back into the club.

Putin, remember, is the one who kills journalists and opposition leaders with nuclear poisons.

He's the one that enabled Assad to kill million of his own people in Syria.

He's the one who has invaded eastern Ukraine and shot down a civilian airliner.

And this is who Trump sides with over his own government.

You have to wonder if Trump is Russian asset.
