Seems "Moscow Mitch" McConnell, married to a Chinese billionaire family,
is also quite chummy with a Putin pal Oleg Deripaska, a well documented gangster.
      :lmaosmiley:
McConnell pulled some strings to bring Russian jobs to his district.

Ex-McConnell staffers lobbied on Russian-backed Kentucky project

The Russian firm was only able to make the investment after it won sanctions relief from penalties the Treasury Department initially imposed in April 2018 on Rusal and other companies owned by Oleg Deripaska, a Russian oligarch

Pelosi calls McConnell ‘Moscow Mitch’ as she
recounts bills he has blocked

https://www.washingt...af08_story.html

“We sent our legislation to the Senate,” Pelosi said. “Moscow Mitch says that he is the ‘grim reaper.’ Imagine describing yourself as the ‘grim reaper,’ that he’s going to bury all this legislation.”

Asked Wednesday for comment on Pelosi’s use of “Moscow Mitch,” an aide pointed to McConnell’s comments on the Senate floor in response to Scarborough and Washington Post columnist Dana Milbank, who referred to McConnell as a “Russian asset” around the same time.

LMAO  The SENATE is where all bills go to die regardless of who is in power.  Don't remember you wailing about Schumer not even letting bills come up for discussion.  The bicameral system of government is DESIGNED to make laws difficult to pass.

The Senate never had a leader who self-described as "The Grim Reaper,"

seemingly taking pride in his ability to kill bills.

Republicans use McConnell allies to try and force his hand on election security

https://www.mcclatch...e234142532.html

A conservative group is increasing pressure on Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to put election security legislation up for a vote in the Senate by airing ads that target the Kentucky Republican and four other Republican senators in their home states.

Let's see where McConnell's loyalties lie. With Moscow or the US Constitution.
