Are they just finally getting caught? Does absolute power corrupt absolutely in CA?

No less than 3 Dem legislators in Sacramento have been arrested in the last year.

Leland Yee (considered a frontrunner for Sec of State)

Look up the bio on his buddy "shrimpboy"...yeah, I have friends like that.

Sen Rod Wright convicted:

Ron Calderon arrested:

BTW, they still receive their salaries while they are on "leave of absence."

Don't forget SD mayor Bob Filner...pleads guilty. Which party has the "war on women?":

Don't forget out of state:

Charlotte Mayor Patrick Cannonarrested:

NY State Sen and Councilman arrested:

None of these are for minor offenses like DUI. They are all about corruption. At least they are a "diverse" group...lmao (sorry, that one was just for myself).

This is kind of corruption that can be expected when one party is aloud to build a political machine without an objective competent press corp to keep an eye on them in a state where most of it's population is tuned out to what goes on at the Capitol.

So sad that the dems are treated differently by the press, society, and government in general when they go bad....?  The republicans are hounded out of office and all over the news for weeks when we find out they are scumbags (and exactly as it should be...!) but yet any dem is put on paid leave (caldaron..?) and treated with soft leather gloves for months on end with just minimal news....   They go to rehab or leave office quietly and are put on some coastal committee at $120K a year.....?    We have to stop this double standard.   Dirt bags are dirt bags, we need to treat them all the same way.   Unequal treatment.....   I think there is a law against that somewhere...?    Chris

I heard an interesting take on the plethora of Dems being arrested by the FBI. The theory goes that they are cleaning house on the Dems early, and will hit the Reps closer to election time. Sounds unlikely, but then again, I won't be surprised if that does indeed happen.
