I wonder how much I owe Uncle Sam now. My final military paystub indicates they overpaid me a penny.

I figure if they come after me, my first call will be to 60 minutes. 2nd call will be to Call Curtis.

You know what is real stupid about this on the IRS's part.

I know at least twice I've made some kind of mistake on my tax returns. How do I know, because the IRS made the correction and sent me a smaller refund than what I expected.

So I know they have mechanism's in place to make adjustments to your return. There is no flipping reason why they couldn't have done the same to this guy for the 4 cents. Heck, they round your tax stuff to the nearest dollar anyway.
