I have a friend who wants to rent office space in Roseville (preferably on the side closest to Granite Bay). I do not know her budget, only that she mentioned "cheap".....I know there is lots of vacancies, but where would one go to find out what's available? Thanks!

She should engage a Commercial Real Estate Broker...it would NOT be in her best interest to call a Broker listed on a sign on a space she might be interested in...they will have the best interest of the property owner as a priority. Think of when you are looking to buy a home, you connect with a real estate person & they locate possible properties based on your specific needs, then they negotiate with the listing agent. The broker earns a commission after the lease is executed, paid by the property owner. Good luck!
