Hmm!

Seems the social media sites are abuzz with reaction to Trumps insults to our allies

at the G7 conference.
Looks like Trump stepped in doo-doo.                     :BOO:

Tremendous support for Trudeau over Trump.

Looks like Germany, France, Canada are the new leaders of the Free World.

The image of a stubborn, cross-armed Trump, arguing with Merkle is spinning 'round the world.

What an embarrassment for our ill-informed pResident.

Social media is loving Angela Merkel's photo of Trump vs. G7 summit leaders

https://mashable.com...o/#bF3txQ5LJZqw

On Saturday, the German Chancellor shared a striking photo of the G7 summit on Instagram that prominently showed her and other world leaders gathered around Trump.

The U.S. president is seated with his arms crossed, while Merkel, and other world leaders (all standing, BTW) are seen staring down at him. Needless to say, everyone in the photo looks visibly tense. Arms are folded, hands are on the table, and people definitely noticed.

TRUMP SLAMS 'EM:  “There’s a special place in hell for any foreign leader that engages in bad faith diplomacy with President Donald J. Trump and then tries to stab him in the back on the way out the door,” Trump trade adviser Peter Navarro said in an interview nationally broadcast Sunday in the United States.  Story below.  Love it when Trump takes charge and is the adult in the room.  These G7 globalists need to be slapped around a little bit.  We're tired of being taken advantage of on these lopsided trade deals.  AMERICA FIRST!!  Screw you, Trudeau and Merkel !!  Another Trump success. :cheer:

So, the G-7 Summit blows up due to Trump's petulance!

Too chicken to confront Trudeau face to face . . . He agrees to the final communique,

then sneaks out the back door and tells his aides to nix the agreement.

What a coward!

Let's see how his "charm offensive" works with Kim Jong Un.

(Lots of "offensive," Little "charm."  :loco:

G7 summit and fallout highlight America's identity crisis

http://calgarysun.co...identity-crisis

The decidedly undiplomatic outbursts will have lasting and as yet unknown effects on the U.S.’s relationship with its closest allies.

Despite its loud protestations to the contrary, the United States is a beneficiary — not a victim — of the world order it helped to create.

The sooner its leadership realizes this, the better it will be for everyone.

Trumps does Putin's work: Splitting Western Allies. Trying to invite Russia back into the G7.

GOP sen says Trump, Canada spat is like ‘a fight with your spouse’

http://thehill.com/h...ith-your-spouse

“Have you ever had a fight with your spouse? And in that you just make the decision,

OK things were said that we wish were not but there's an underlying issue that has to be addressed,” Cassidy told CNN’s “New Day.”

“Now you put this aside and hope it never happens again

It's just amazing how little people know about the crappy trade deals the US has gotten in the past and how much it has hurt our country.

Take the farmers, for instance. Many have had to sell their farms, which is their livelihood, because they can't compete with the foreign grown food prices. So, we have fewer choices of fruits and vegetables to buy that are grown here. And aren't really sure about what conditions they are grown under, when grown in other countries.

Businesses have gone over seas and sold their goods here at a hefty profit, but don't have the same quality of an American company. That's due to the fact that pride of workmanship is very low in other countries. We make things better here, because we have better workers. So, that cheaper labor comes at a price.  And WE pay that price with buying things that break more easily and wear out faster.

Most people will agree to "Free Trade" but trade has never been free for Americans. Other countries think that we are richer so should pay more when sending our products to their country. They think that it would be an unfair advantage to their home companies. But that is not the problem really. The problem is they can not compete with our products because they don't have the American work ethic.

So that's why Americans keep buying Mercedes and BMW's and Audi's and VW's , right?????   Total BS! :lmaosmiley: :lmaosmiley: :lmaosmiley: :lmaosmiley:

Most economists agree that America is the MAJOR beneficiary of our trade deals.

The dangerous consequences of a trade war far outweigh even an unfair deal.

Trump monkeying with long-standing agreements is like Gallagher making french fries with his sledge hammer.

Larry Kudlow, the G7 critic who added fuel to the firestorm between The Trumpinator and our

closest allies, has himself suffered a heart attack and is it Walter Reed Hospital.

Friends say he was quite "worked up" over the dispute with Trudeau.

Economic adviser Larry Kudlow suffers heart attack, Trump says

During a fiery interview on CNN on Sunday, Kudlow said Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "kind of stabbed us in the back" after Trudeau reiterated that U.S. tariffs against Canada were "insulting" and would result in retaliatory tariffs against the U.S.

Folsom Bound....your statement is so lame, it hardly warrants a polite reply.

Looking at the big picture on how our country has been hurt by crappy trade deals, I hardly think the purchase of a few over rated and over priced vehicles matters much.

I'm thinking more of how many dogs and cats got sick and died from the crap China put in it's pet food years ago.  How do you think they got away with that s---????

And that's only a tip of the iceberg.
