So, the question was asked yesterday on  the radio, is this year's team better than last year's?

Didn't they barely make the playoffs last year? Then they get hot for a dozen games and win it all. Seems they have a pattern of this "first to worst" thing over the last few years.

3 championships in the last 5 years is pretty impressive though. Although baseball has become such a chore to watch today. The games take way too long and there aren't any real stars out there that don't have (or had) some stigma of PEDs attached to them.

When does NFL start?

Let's answer that question after we get through June and July. Those were some pretty disgusting months to be a Giants fan last year.

Yes, to win the series 3 out of 5 years is pretty impressive. I love watching games because I enjoy the strategy behind every pitch, shift, batting situation, and substitution; the stuff that happens between the plays.

I do like football better, but still really enjoy baseball.

Indeed, it could be too early to tell. I do like the way they've been playing, even with Cain and Peavey out, and McGehee was terrible.

hey, saying like it is- don't make me a fair weather fan.

Although, to be honest, I haven't sat down and watched a game in a long time. Mostly I just read the columns, watch the highlights on the news....

Hey.... its not like I grange with my fan ly ness. I stick to a few teams and accept their awesomeness or unawesomeness each year

When they had that 8-game losing streak last month, I thought, "OK, it's an odd-numbered year, here we go again", but they've turned it around very nicely. Sometimes the pitching is inconsistent, but every team battles that. If injuries stay away, there's no reason they can't be right back in the World Series.
