Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti said he tweeted a photo of a DVD as a way to ensure that Trump and anyone else associated with him would not “spin” facts about his client Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford. Avenatti’s tweet comes ahead of a blockbuster 60 Minutes interview with Daniels that’s set to broadcast on Sunday on CBS.

The very fact that we are discussing the issue of a so-called president paying off a porn star (or two, or a few dozen)

is the about the most damaging part of the story that I can think of.

How does this advance the Trump agenda?

It's a no-win quagmire for the Donald.

 

The very fact that him and his lawyer are now the subject of lawsuits, the laughing stock of the nation,

and the demoralizing of the office of the presidency should be enough for any thinking man to

shout, "Enough, Please stop!"

Stormy seems to have a very sharp lawyer.  He will already know the answer to any question he will ask in a deposition.  If he asks, "Did you have sex with that woman?", and he says "no", and then he has a video of them having sex, Trump will have lied in the deposition which is a crime.  And he will get a pass from his base.

 

One thing I don't understand.  Trump is a scumbag's scumbag.  And yet his base stands behind him, no matter what he does.  Some republicans, conservatives, evangelicals, and women have shown that their values can be negotiated.  What good are values if you're willing to trade them away?  It's very sad.

That's right, silly me...   I forgot the debate rules of the left: 

 

1.  Can't talk about about Bill Clinton and how silent we (the left) were back then regarding his "escapades" and "indiscretions", women's issues.

 

2.  The past is the past (only applies to democrats) unless it is about Trump then everything is fair game, no statute of limitations on anything, including the truth.

 

3.  Can only talk about Hillary and her support for women, can not talk about her trying to destroy the lives of any of the women Bill raped, fondled, or exposed himself to...

 

4.  Any democrat caught in misogyny, adultery, rape, unwanted sexual advances gets to keep his/her job and only has to go to rehab for 30 days at best.  Any Republican will be destroyed financially, politically, publically and will lose their jobs, their house, their kids, and their dog.
