I want to do some family photos in Folsom and would love to have some pretty fall color in the background.  Do we have any groves of maples/aspen/fall color etc. that anyone can recommend?

Hope Valley is a popular destination.  Take Hwy50 towards S. Lake Tahoe then take Hwy 89 South.  Might be better in a couple of weeks.

Sandman is right. However, I'm not sure it will be worth the drive this year due to drought.

There are some amazing murals down in Sac (wish we had some up here in Folsom!) Try the beautiful work at Southside Park, 8th and K or do some searching online or cruise around. They can make great and creative backdrops with a local flavor.

I made fall .... in my cubicle today.

 

lots of people walked clear across the room to see my version of fall. 

 

 

People said I should have been a floral decorator. I said nah.. less chances of allergies with silk.
