Today's (2 Apr 03) Folsom Telegraph had letter saying there is to be a rally to "Support Our Troops" at 4 P. M. on Friday April 4th at Blue Ravine & E. Bidwell organized by the Folsom VFW. Hopefully, some of us can participate. See you there!

The rally was a great success, I think!!! There were quite a few participants on all four corners and all the cars/vehicles that passed in every direction honked and waved. The flags were wonderful, as well as yellow ribbons, and I was able to pass out some of the MyFolsom fliers!!! The rain even took a break while the rally was going on.

The rally was a great success. I do wish there would have been more people
out there. I guess there were around 50 men, women and children.

The flags were held high. My wife even brought her Union Jack (British flag) and
we held them high.

There were thousands of cars and trucks driving past and supporting the cause
by blowing their horns and waving.

Continue to support our troups, fly your flags and lets hope they come back soon.

After reading today comments from "Hanoi Jane", she needs to be urged to go live in China, Canada, or elsewhere other than the U. S. A. She certainly is not a good American citizen and does not support our troops or our country with her words!

First of all, I'm by no means a fan of Hanoi Jane - either her politics or her movies. Regardless there's been an "urban legend" of sorts circulating for years and I'm hoping this is what Betty is referring to. Check out this link and see the facts and fictions about Hanoi Jane. I don't know of any new comments she's made on current issues.

I'm sorry I don't remember which Internet publication I was reading. It will probably be repeated in others.
