Lol....so many many many many many failures by Vinny and the left.....yet Charlie Brown still tries to kick that football.

Spoiler alert:. He never does.

Imagine if the Dems put as much time, money and effort into...oh I don't know.... maybe MAKING AMERICA BETTER.... they might have a leg to stand on when it comes to pitching their platform to get votes in 2020.

But no....it's 100% "orange man bad". Tsk tsk tsk tsk

The Supreme Court’s census ruling is a victory for truth and the rule of the law

https://www.latimes....0627-story.html

In a stunning victory for the rule of law, a bare majority of the Supreme Court agreed that the Commerce Department had not adequately justified the addition of a citizenship question to the 2020 census. But the decision says more about how poorly the Trump administration covered its tracks than it does about the court’s willingness to rein in the administration’s worst excesses.

The decision handed down Thursday is procedurally complicated, but will likely have the effect of blocking the addition of the citizenship question to the census.

I was waiting for someone to post about this.

Tell me Vinny, how do YOU feel about asking the citizenship question in the census?

Disregard the SCOTUS decision which seems to be more about Trump's reasoning....why do you or don't you think the question should be included?

Ok. So the census is to allocate representatives and $$$ based on population distribution. It is very detailed in wanting to know WHO is at each household.  As non-citizens cannot vote, there is no reason whatsoever to count them for representative allocation. It is plain to anyone who is not an open borders fanboy that the question SHOULD be on the census AND that the answer SHOULD be used in determining representatives.

Vinny: I'll keep asking because I'm interested in your opinion...

How do you feel about the citizenship question on the census?

Sorry, Slow, it just doesn't fit on a bumper sticker.

In a perfect world, the question of citizenship would be fine with me.

In reality, it's a question the GOP KNOWS will force many here illegally to evade the census altogether,

thereby diminishing the value and accuracy of the count.

Reports show this is a well-documented ploy to (once again) block people from voting.

It is, therefore, a smokescreen for disenfranchising (mostly Democratic) voters.

The Constitution requires "counting the whole number of persons in each State" and says nothing about

citizenship.

"The question is of citizenship would be fine with me."

That's what I was looking for. Your opinion. Not what others tell you.

Funny you should mention that it might disenfranchise "mostly Democratic voters". This is the perfect admission as to why the left is so interested in open borders.

Illegals are today's Democrat Trojan horse. Sneak them all in so they can vote for the party offering them EVERYTHING while they claim there's no crisis.

It is embarrassingly transparent

Whoa!
The questions was, and I quote Slow:

How do you feel about the citizenship question on the census?

It was not on citizenship for illegal immigrants.

You really think Vinny would fall that bait-and-switch trick?

Funny that you would admit the GOP strategy is to disenfranchise Mexicans!

I only built on your comment that deterring illegal immigrants (ie non citizens) would be an attack on Democrat voters.

I saw your opinion. It was quaint. You'd be fine with the question being included. The rest shouldn't matter....but it does
