Thank you for being a part of our Parent's Board...Here are a few guidelines to follow to maintain a happy & healthy board
1.This forum is meant to share your opinions and personal experiences being a parent.
2.Everyone has different ways of raising their child, if you don't like it, then ignore it.
3.This is not meant to be a debate board on things that one should or shouldn't do to their child, so please don't make it that way.
4.Please be respectful of others choices in child rearing.
Thank you!

Amen to that. Nothing is as anooying as a parent on a soap box saying their way is the only way.

Ok - let me get this straight (I have 2 kids) - One can share their opinions and personal experiences- but cannot comment on any other' s
IS that how it works ?
If so - what is the point or objective of this portion of the forum ?
Cheers

Another great day in the adventure of exploration and sight.

the point of the forum is to share experiences, not to debate.
Everyone raises their kids differently. I don't think it's appropriate to tell people how to raise their children.

I never said don't comment on others, just be respectful...
This board is meant to give helpful advice and ideas to other parents in the Folsom community and to possibly connect with other parents with your children's ages.
It is not a place to "slam" people for the way that they do things...
It's not a debate board, that's all i am trying to say.
Sorry for the confusion

Just a question of mine...how would you define a parent?
Even though I help raise my niece, I still follow the rules my sister and brother-in-law have in regards for her upbringing. However they have also told me that as she grows older I can answer her questions about things the way I see fit.
