What is this meeting? There is no city council meeting tonight is there?

A VETERAN Whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America" for an amount "up to and including their life". That is HONOR, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it. -Author unknown-

Thanks for posting this article. I live near that place and pass it daily. This story has been an eye opener and confirmation of everything I've seen and heard about it.

I don't get how the owner can say what he's saying....
this paragraph is very contradictory;

At his home this week, Larrick was cleaning a chimichanga from his prized custom crystal chandelier. He said he was baffled by the accusations. He admitted there have been problems, but said, "We don't have parties. There is no dope sold here and there is no dope in the house."

so there's no parties.. but yet he's cleaning a burrito out of his chandelier??? thats a strange place to keep food, but then again tweakers are kinda wierd like that anyways

Also, in the article the homeowner's attorney makes it sound like we should all feel sorry for him for going through a "lifestyle change." If he were entertaining young female, umm, professionals after a divorce who were vandalizing the neighborhood, partying all night, and allegedly stealing his Corvette for, in all likelihood, services rendered I doubt we would be asked for sympathy. I'm sure there are lots of people that come out of the closet where cleaning out tortilla, meat & cheese products out of the chandelier aren't involved.

I'll save my sympathy for the neighbors who lived in fear of (their term) Roy's Boys.

I can't believe the Bee was trying to make us feel sorry for him! I feel sorry for his neighbors.

Gee, sure wish the Bee would do a story about the apartments on Talisman and the 4 police cars and 3 police motorcycles that were there yesterday afternoon.
