what are thali dinners?

You order an entree and it comes with 4-5 sides - little bowls with about 1/2 cup of each item. You don't get to pick the sides, but usually includes raita.

We ate there this afternoon and had the $7.99pp buffet. It was terrific - good variety of food (meats, rice, soup, fruit, naan, dessert), everything was fresh and ready and most importantly delicious. The place was packed, every table with a line to the buffet about 12 deep. I bet it was the Intel crowd enjoying a Friday lunch out.
