Agree, I went there because Best Buy was out of something I wanted. It was completely dead except the workers. I couldnt find what I was looking for, and no one offered to help. There were tons of them standing around. I had to ask someone who had to ask someone who had to ask someone to help me. I will never go in there again, unless of course they shut down and liquidate everything.

They often have more staff than customers. The location is poor. The selection is poor. The economy is bad and they are financially weak.
Circuit City is not on most people's minds as a place to shop as it may have been 5 years ago before Best Buy got popular. Most people don't even know they were renamed "The City."
There is no way they can make money at that location. Maybe the whole chain will shut down, but even if not, the Folsom location will be gone in a matter of time.

In order for retailers to see the black on Black Friday, they are going to have to step up their sales, promos and giveaways especially if they want to move $2000 HDTVs this year.
This could be the biggest make or break BF ever -- some will make it and some will close up which will be sad to see.

The savings are worth the risk to bring such things home on purpose, imo

I used to think that way until I had a couple hd's crash and lost all my photos because I was an idiot and didn't back up as much as I should have. Now I have Apples Time Machine doing in the background for me so I don't have to worry about it but almost everything I have bought refurbished has been a hassle and gone back when it came to electronics. I've heard opposite stories but this is just mine.
It kind of makes since though. I mean, if you have a computer thats acting up and you send it back to them all they do is fix what appears to be the problem and resell it. They don't have time to sit around and use the computer (or whatever the item) for a few weeks and be sure the problem is gone so.
Actually, I just received 3 refurbished keyboards from apple for our new imacs at work. We couldn't use the stupid new mini wireless keyboards apple ships because they don't have a numeric keypad on the side so the only option we had to get the old apple wireless keypads with the num keypad was to go refurb (still irritated about that). Two of the Three Keyboards didn't work. One of them... the space bar was stuck up. The other had a couple keys that output nothing... So we sent those back and got 2 more. One of them didn't work. Finally, got one to work. It was such an hassle : (
But others do have great experiences...

Even more bad news: Stock delisting imminent.
If you think they can come out of it, this may be your last chance to buy 1000 shares of Circuit City for $260.
If you buy 10,000 shares and all they do is get their stock above $1 in the next few weeks to avoid delisting, you would still make a nice bit of quick cash.

Circuit City is closing 155 stores, pulling out of 12 markets completely.

It doesn't appear that Sacramento is one of the 12 markets they are pulling out of.
The store locator still lists all local locations including Folsom.

I can almost guarantee the Folsom store will close within a year or so.

The stock is up to 36 cents. You could have made 40 percent on your money in a day.
