Saw something on FB, no other details. Anyone know if this is happening?

I had heard they were going to go in the old Red Robin location, but then I heard, no, they weren't.  Just a rumor.

I see a Domino's Pizza is going in along Blue Ravine in the same center as Kelly Moore Paints.

There's also some sort of new kickboxing place in the center that has FedEx Kinko's/Roundtable Pizza, Folsom Palace along Riley.

There's a new balloon place and "coming soon" vaccuum/sewing place in the center where Grocery Outlet is on East Bidwell St.

It was also mentioned in today's News@95630 newsletter.

I got Domino's the other night. Not expensive, but no good.

I stupidly keep trying Domino's here and there in hopes that they are as good as the one was in Whitewater, Wisc in 1987. It was seriously good. And obviously a freak accident. ;)

The old Red Robin location is perfect! It's close to Sutter St and I know about 2am after a full night of drinking is about the only time I've been to a Denny's.

Here is an item from the Sacramento Business Journal...

Denny's opening new location in Folsom

A chain restaurant is filling a Folsom space that's been vacant since Red Robin Gourmet Burgers moved more than a year ago.

Denny's will open a location at 1011 Riley St., according to the city of Folsom. The Folsom restaurant, owned by Central Valley Diner Inc., is expected to open by early November, though plans are still in the early stages.

Red Robin filled the Riley Street space before moving to Folsom's Palladio at Broadstone last May.

Denny's has about 15 locations in the Sacramento region, according to information posted on its website.

One has to be drunk to be able to eat that garbage.

My wife and I have eaten at Denny's I guess 2 or 3 times ever. We have

always found their food very greasy.

Just didn't care for it.

+1 right up there with IHOP.

Why would anyone go to Dennys for Bfast when you've got Goldminer and Sutter St Café in the same area.  Wait I know...  Its a chain...

Maybe the hours at IHop and Denny's are more reasonable and maybe those places have more than 200 sq ft of seating?

I had many a late night/early morning Grand Slam breakfast at the ones in Daly City and South City back in my much younger days.

They do seem to have quite a following.

I remember probably 30 years ago,  we took some of family visiting from New Orleans up to Tahoe.

I won some money, and wanted to take them to dinner (actually my mom's idea). Where did they want to go? Denny's, even though or maybe because they had one in New Orleans.

Many years later, I went with a group from work to Tokyo. They ate at Jack in the Box, Hard Rock Cafe, and Denny's.

People like chains in part because they know what to expect.

This is a good thing for Folsom, as they and their employees and guests will be paying into the economy.

I was hoping for a Black Bear Diner but I suppose Denny's will do.
